Perhaps it is the sweeping sea views across the bays, the dramatic castle headland watching over the coastline, or the way the town seems to slow down completely once evening falls and the lights begin to glow along the harbour. More often than not, it is the simple moments people remember most — coffee beside the sea on slow mornings, sunset walks along Marine Drive, sharing wine while storm clouds roll in across the bay, or losing entire afternoons simply gazing out at the water together.
Scarborough has always been a place people escape to. Not for flashy nightlife or fast-paced weekends, but for something quieter, slower and more restorative. A place where couples come to properly switch off from everyday life for a while.
